MUCH MURKLE model railway exhibition layout
A 1930's Great Western Branch Line Terminus
Much Murkle featured in the July 2012 issue 61 of Hornby Magazine with an 8 page article. It is interesting for me to look back and seee how much has changed since this article was published. Much more detail has been added around the layout, and selected cameo scenes bring the layout to life. The tree at the goods yard entrance has been replaced and an additional small oak planted in the meadow. The biggest change however is in the goods yard where the West of England Sack Company store has been replaced by a loading dock and yard crane.
It appears that there is constant change afoot at Much Murkle!
